Shri Ramu (aged 35 years), son of Shri Poornamasi, is a resident of Village Kalli Paschim, District Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. His family comprises five members. Previously, he was unemployed, and the family faced severe financial hardship. Due to insufficient income, they encountered significant challenges in meeting their daily needs.
He approached the Mohanlalganj branch of the Uttar Pradesh Gramin Vikas Bank, where he received information regarding the NSFDC schemes. Subsequently, he availed a loan of ₹3,50,000 under the NSFDC scheme in the year 2024 to purchase an auto-rickshaw, repayable over a period of 5 years.
He currently earns approximately ₹28,000 to ₹29,000 per month. His two children are attending school, and he is able to pay their educational fees regularly. The income generated from operating the auto-rickshaw is sufficient to sustain his family of five and meet their livelihood needs. His financial condition has improved significantly compared to the past, and he has expressed deep satisfaction with his current occupation.
